Lest We Forget: Middle Ages and More

Welcome to Walk 11
This walk took us to the Musée Cluny or the Musée de la Moyen Age.

 A Gregorian Choir Practicing

After going through this cool old building, we went to lunch and then passed by the Sorbonne, which we couldn't go into.

Then walking up past a whole bunch of different schools we ended up at the Panthéon.

The War Memorial

Descended into the Crypt

We then walked next to the Panthéon to the St.-Etienne-du-Mont Church.

 The coffin of Saint Genvieve

We saw yet another part of the old Phillipe-Auguste wall as we walked to a small square with a fountain called Place de la Contrescarpe.

We ended our walk at Arène de Lutèce which is an old Roman arena from when Paris was Lutetia.

This walk was longer than the others due to time in the museums and it started to rain super hard in the middle of it, which was super cool!
Well until the next post- this is Haley Dunkley signing off.
