Greetings Friends!
Today's walk is Walk 14, this walk took us to a super cool museum and a super awesome park.
To start the walk we went to the Musée Jacquemart-André, which is in a really cool old house. It made me wish that I could have lived there or at least visited the people who lived there when it was a house and not a museum.
The museum was having an Impressionists at Normandy exhibit that was pretty cool, with great pictures.
After walking through the incredibly awesome museum we went to the Parc Monceau. To get there we walked through a really nice neighborhood designed by Haussmann, who gave Paris a facelift in the 19th Century because a lot of the buildings where really old.
At the park there was a lot of cool things. Instead of a traditional French park, Parc Monceau has evolved into a traditional English-style garden, and it is gorgeous.
After walking around and out of the park, we walked to the Musée Nissim de Camondo.
This museum was like Jacquemart-André but not as big and had lots of really cool furniture and decorations.
That was the end of the walk, luckily we saved most of the short walks for the end.
Until the next time--
